Absolutely love Dans BBQ! Tri tip sandwiches are amazing. We've just about tried everything on the menu and have no been disappointed.
Yum! Stopped in and got a sample meat plate with my husband. Tri-tip, ribs & pulled pork was our choice. (Two sides) the ribs were to die for! So tender and great flavor, pulled pork moist and tasty and the tri-tip was good but also the reason for not giving this five stars. Had a weird spice I wasn't too fond of and sliced too thin for a plate serving. Think it would've been better in a sandwich. Don't get me wrong it was still good. Sides were good too but the bbq sauce was a dream of yumminess. Already planning my return trip and next time we are doing the burgers. Saw someone eating one and it looked amazing. Highly recommend you try this place. Great mom and pop bbq joint

Staff extreme nice and friendly. Service was quick. We ordered: Brisket w coldslaw 5/5. Very tender and slaw no over sauced. Chicken, pulled pork w chili 5/5. Pork bursing w flavor, xhicken moist and well cooked. Tri tip w/ coldslaw. Tender and full of flavor. We will be back if/ when we r back in modesto.
The best bbq in town. They do catering, so a good amount of time we stop by they would be close. Parking place is small, but we always find any place to park.
